Upscale U Street fashion design house and retailer, moojoo ken, closes out another great year at its anchor store in Washington, DC. 2008 was even better than 2007, with the partners looking forward to an even more successful 2009. Many great events marked the changing of the months and seasons for this chic, trendy shop in the uber hip U Street corridor. “Even though there has been a terrible downturn in the economy, we have weathered the storm quite well. We’re hoping to increase our presence in the national market starting the first of next year,“ explained Alexander Ayrom, one of the partners and designers. With so many good things going for it, the design house hopes to continue making its unique mark on its hometown's fashion scene.
